Bloggers Needed for Online Marketing Campaign
Key To Blogging Success:
Any mother who decides to have children knows this will be a labour of love. Sometimes it will take up to 20 years for you to look back as see just how awesome it was being a mom and the good that came out of it as you see your little one soar and live a very fulfilling life. Now do have to wait 20 years for your blog to get there no, but it is a labor of love.
I notice you say work hard and see little results. What is your definition of hard work ad results? I have had my blog for 6 months I believe...and what I know for certain (and something we women tend to struggle with) is don't compare yourself with others. Maybe you have 3 readers, but 3 readers who keep coming back is better that 100 passers by! BTW, I average in traffic what many wish they had! (Not bragging just saying, you are probably doing better than you think)!
Consistency is the key, never tire of doing good. Your blog is your third fourth, fifth child. How many times do we tell those little people to wash their hands. 20-40 times a day I am sure, and yet everyday you keep at it until they do it on their own!
Often times when I find people struggling, it is because they are not asking for help. Have you asked for help from someone who is where you want to be? Remember each step is a stepping stone. Success does not happen overnight, but one night success does happen!
Lastly...get over it! Focus on what you need to get done.
I'd be happy to look over your blog and see what's up!

I analyze what makes a blogger successful and learn from her example. I also always let bloggers I admire know that I appreciate their work. Whatever you do, be yourself and remember that your time will come.

I know my jealousy comes with the blogs that have THOUSANDS of comments, lol! I am often wondering how do they get SO many comments? But when that happens I do like these ladies suggested, learn from those bloggers and see what they are doing and try to bring that kind of success to my blog. :)

There is a lot of good advice here already! I would just like to add that blogging should be a fun and creative outlet. You should enjoy it whether or not you have any visitors or comments at all!

Jealousy stems from being wrapped up in self. Be happy for everyone, trust in your abilities, and move forward.

Instead, focus on writing about a subject you're passionate about. Provide useful information in a fun and positive way. Focus on building relationships with others in the blogging/social media world. Don't look at what's in it for you, look at how you can help and educate others. Then I believe that people will see that authenticity and pass on the word, and success will follow.
Good luck!

I would only add to all these words of wisdom to get an eBook or sign up for an ecourse on getting traffic to your website. I would get one from an expert mom blogger, one who has done it and is doing it, like Alice Seba our Internet Marketing Sweetie!
When you are starting or building a business you should expect to invest some money for training and education. I can't think of a better investment than educating yourself to build your business!

I'm pretty sure that all of the "celebrity" bloggers are still just humans, so they understand where we're all coming from. They've been there and done that themselves and are very nice people to talk to.
Great question though!

I was really inspired by the Mom's doing the reviews about a month ago. How cool is it to get things for free as long as you write a post on your opinion? Well about 50 pitch emails later I have already have a pile of products sitting her next to me, just waiting for me to tell the blog world my opinion on, and about a dozen or so still on the way. The fact is that if you want it, you can do it. Jealousy wont get you anything, but inspiration will!
Turn that jealousy into inspiration! Love something someone did on their blog so much you feel the envy coming on? Send them a nice message asking how they did that, or tell them you want to do the same thing, can they give any tips.
There are so many resources out there! Use them! I promise you, have faith in yourself, faith in your blog and you will succeed! Reaching out and networking is your best resource in blogging! I'd be happy to help you any way I can! Good Luck!

How do they do it? Yet, I just keep plugging along, follow everyone's sage advice to keep tweeking my blog and techniques, and continue to write for the sheer joy of sharing information with everyone and hoping my reader(s) will find it helpful!

I think Jennifer J gave the best advice above: "do you"! I see lots of successful blogs but their style is just not me, and I believe I can make a little spending money (eventually) by doing my own thing.

But....I also know that I don't have a right to be jealous because I'm not doing anything to monetize my blog which hello if you aren't monetizing it how can you expect to make money? LOL
So my advice? There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been covered. It's all about putting forth the time and effort of learning how to monetize things. There are ecourses, ebooks, etc. Read the successful blogs and start to learn the things they do. And of course stay positive and don't give up :-)

Then, I apply it, then or later, to what I can do to help my blog or product. Sometimes those times of jealousy give you the best notes. You realize they are doing something that you aren't and you can tweak it to work for you.
Good luck, we are all human. :)

Then I think, hmmm.... I wonder if Jennifer James ever felt jealous of other bloggers when she first started?
That makes me feel better. :)

Mostly I focus on making my own "home" awesome instead of getting stuck. For every blogger I am envious of, there are probably a HUNDRED that envy me. Sometimes I hear from them!
Yes - what the others said - be yourself, LEARN from awesome bloggers, keep blogging daily and you will get there!
